Humphries in ‘utter horror’ watching ‘Kourtney & Kim’ premiere

Kim Kardashian’s estranged husband, Kris Humphries, was among the 3.2 million people watching the season two premiere of “Kourtney & Kim Take New York” Sunday night. The episode left the basketball star in “utter horror,” reports say.

A source close to Humphries tells Radar Online that the 6-foot-9 Minnesotan was left shaking his head over the show.

“It’s just not a true depiction about what was actually going on between Kim and Kris,” the insider says.

In the episode, Humphries was shown telling Kardashian that he planned to move home to Minnesota rather than live with her in New York, after coming home and finding her taking part in a naked yoga class in their hotel suite.

He was also shown farting in Kourtney Kardashian’s face and rough-housing with his wife, stepping on her toe and body slamming her on their bed before joking, “God, you ate a lot of wedding cake.”

But the source says there is another element not shown in the series that ultimately led to her filing for divorce after just 72 days.

“Kris did jokingly say that Kim ate too much wedding cake,” the source said. “But what viewers didn’t see was Kim nagging Kris about working. There was nothing he could do about the NBA lockout. He was working out, and getting ready for the upcoming season, and he is a free agent.

“It was actually Kim’s idea that Kris go back to Minnesota to train and give them some distance. Kris wasn’t getting any sleep at all with Mason’s playroom literally set up outside their bedroom door. It made no sense for Mason’s play area to be on the second floor of the suite Kim, Kris, Scott and Kourtney were staying in. Scott and Kourtney were staying downstairs. Scott felt that the producers of the show were just trying to provoke him into reactions.”

But while Humphries was disappointed with the heavy bias of the show, he also knew what he was getting himself into.

“Kris wasn’t surprised that he was made to look bad,” the source says. “He will just be relieved when the show is over, and his divorce is final.”

A second source echoes the sentiment that Humphries is ready to move on to the website HollywoodLife.com. The resolution of the NBA lockout will surely help — the season will officially begin on Dec. 25.

“Kris is very excited to take on the next chapter of his life, whether it is with the New Jersey Nets or another team,” the source says. “He feels with the NBA returning, he can get back to his normal routine and away from the madness that has been the whole wedding disaster.”
