Bradley Cooper may have a new object of affection, now that Jennifer Lopez is dating 24-year-old backup dance Casper Smart. The “Limitless” actor shared a romantic evening in Paris this week with French actress Melanie Laurent, who is best known for her role in the Quentin Tarantino film “Inglourious Basterds.”
The newly crowned Sexiest Man Alive headed to the theater with blonde Laurent, reports the Daily Mail. From there, the two headed to his hotel for dinner. They appeared relaxed and chatty. Presumably the conversation was lively, as Cooper is fluent in French.

Cooper split from longtime girlfriend Renee Zellweger in March. In late October, he was linked to Lopez when the singer was photographed in his car on a Saturday morning after allegedly having spent the night. A source at the time said that Cooper was “trying to woo Jennifer in a big way” after a date at Per Se in New York on Sept. 10.
But it appears that Cooper may have lost out to Smart, who reports say has gone from a “fling” to something “pretty serious” for Lopez despite their 18-year age gap. At the American Music Awards earlier this month, Lopez accompanied Smart to an after-party, where she not only kissed him but reportedly gave him a lap dance. She also introduced him to industry insiders like “X Factor” judge L.A. Reid.

Over Thanksgiving, Smart headed to Hawaii with Lopez. The two were photographed cuddling poolside, clutching drinks in their hands.
But even though he and Lopez didn’t work out, Cooper isn’t too worried about his romantic prospects. He told People, “I’m a single 36-year-old male. I don’t see myself as a ladies’ man but I love women. Do you know what I’m saying?”
Perhaps his date with Laurent will not be a one-time thing.
