Ireland Baldwin made her Fashion Week debut last week at the Heart Truth New York presentation, but the model told us she’s still learning the ropes of walking in the fashion shows.
“I love watching and observing,” she told us at the Marchesa presentation on Wednesday afternoon. “If I had to get into it now, I don’t think I’m in the shape to just hop into it. To watch how everything is done is the best way to be able to execute it next season.”
Baldwin, 18, who is signed to IMG Models, was escorted to the show by Elle creative director Joe Zee. She sat front-row near Katie Holmes, Sarah Paulson, Olivia Palermo and Suzanne and Woody Johnson. Harvey Weinstein, husband of Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman, and Edward Chapman, Georgina’s brother, were also there.
Marchesa’s red-carpet worthy fall/winter collection included lace-up wedge booties by Christian Louboutin, which editors swooned about on social media.
