Prince Harry was in charge of making toilets for Antarctic trek

Just like his older brother, who’s going back to college, Prince Harry has found his own new hobby: designing toilets.

The 29-year-old Royal Family member took the lead in creating outdoor commodes for the members of an Antarctic expedition that he helped lead last month.

Prince Harry was the patron of the Walking with the Wounded South Pole Allied Challenge 2013 expedition.

During the 13-day trip, three teams of wounded servicemen and women crossed 124 miles of Antarctic to reach the South Pole.

Details of the prince’s handiwork were released at a news conference Tuesday in London that included some of the 12 injured servicemen and women who accompanied the prince on the adventure, reports People.

“They had a flag pole and a [toilet paper] holder that were surrounded by blocks of snow,” “Wire” star Dominic West said at the reception.

“He must have taken 45 minutes to create each one,” he continued.

According to West, Harry would dig a hole, add a platform, then get to decorating.

“He built these incredible intricate ones,” the actor said. “He did art [in high school] – you can tell he has the artistic touch.”

Another of the expedition team, “True Blood” star Alexander Skarsgard, posted a picture of himself on one of the prince’s toilets earlier this month.

The expedition was originally planned as a charity ski race between teams representing the British Commonwealth, U.S. and the U.K. until bad weather forced the teams to come together.

“We had a chat and decided to share it out amongst everyone else!” Prince Harry joked. “To the Australian group if you are watching … Sorry.”
