Lindsay Lohan performs Stevie Nicks song for pal’s birthday

Lindsay Lohan channeled Stevie Nicks and belted out “Edge of Seventeen” at Matthew Mellon’s 50th birthday party at the Four Seasons restaurant on Tuesday night.

The actress/reality TV star grabbed the mike in the Pool Room as Pittsburgh banking heir Mellon, his designer wife Nicole Hanley, Paris and Nicky Hilton, Vikram Chatwal, Todd Meister, Topper Mortimer, Nile Rodgers, Kick Kennedy and Alex von Furstenberg looked on.

Sounding semi-professional, Lohan was backed by the Bob Hardwick Sound.

Stacey Bendet was there directly from her Alice + Olivia fashion show. And designer Douglas Hannant was celebrating his engagement to boyfriend Nicholas Wayne.

A few hours earlier in the Grill Room, former Gov. George Pataki celebrated the publication of his daughter Allison’s first novel, “The Traitor’s Wife,” about Mrs. Benedict Arnold.

Ambassador Earle Mack hosted such Pataki administration alumni as Disney exec Zenia Mucha and top lobbyist Mike McKeon.

After his daughter gave a gracious speech, proud Pataki told me, “If I spoke as well as her, I’d be president now.”
