Eliot Spitzer checks out family business before Thanksgiving

A lone Eliot Spitzer checked up on the family business before diving into turkey and trimmings on Thanksgiving.

Spies saw the former governor Thursday morning in the lobby of 220 E. 72nd St., a luxury rental building owned by Spitzer Engineering, the family real-estate firm that Eliot oversees with his father, Bernard.

When a passer-by spotted the ex-love gov and asked what he was up to next, Spitzer quipped, “I’m going to make sure this lobby is fixed up properly.”

Spitzer rep Lisa Linden explained to us: “He stopped by the property as he usually does of buildings that his family owns. They just completed a beautiful lobby renovation, and he was checking on it.”
