The mystery British woman who claims she’s pregnant by US soccer star Landon Donovan met with top UK publicist Max Clifford yesterday. Sources tell Page Six the woman, who has not been named, is deciding whether to go public with her story, which could cause embarrassment for the World Cup player. Donovan is separated from his actress wife, Bianca Kajlich, but is believed to be hoping for a reconciliation. Clifford confirmed to us that he met the woman but declined to comment further. Donovan, who joined Liverpool-based team Everton on a 10-week loan from the Los Angeles Galaxy until March, said earlier this week: “I was informed of the possibility [of a pregnancy] during the World Cup, and if I need to take responsibility, then I will provide the appropriate support.” His rep didn’t get back to us yesterday.
