Art dealer Tony Shafrazi is defending his buddy Peter Brant, saying it’s impossible he carried on a 1½-year affair with 24-year-old Alyssa Pallett. Brant embarked on a messy divorce from Stephanie Seymour last summer, but the couple have since reconciled. Shafrazi says Pallett was on a boat with Brant and a “young, skinny guy friend of hers” in France last year. But Shafrazi said Pallett slept in separate quarters and left after a few days. “I never saw this person for a year and a half. It was not a thing. On my life, on anybody’s life, any rumor of an affair is preposterous, let alone one for a year and a half.”
