While many fashionistas have applauded designers’ desires to bring their Fashion Week shows to more experimental locations than Lincoln Center’s tents, more than a few were grousing Saturday night about having to schlep to Brooklyn for Alexander Wang’s show.

It was reportedly the first-ever in the borough. But the snarl of black SUVs carrying VIPs to the Duggal Greenhouse at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, where Lady Gaga had recently launched her “Artpop” album, drew some harsh reviews.

“15 minutes to go two blocks getting to the Brooklyn Navy yard for Alexander Wang. Inconsiderate planning,” sniffed a fashion writer on Twitter.

Lucky Editor-in-Chief Eva Chen added, “The traffic to get out of Wang’s show rivals Chris Christie’s #Bridgegate.”

And a WWD scribe tweeted, “Huge traffic jam outside Wang . . . Just passed [Purple magazine editor] Olivier Zahm taking a leak on the side of the road.”

To entice the crowds, Wang had offered an Uber discount with his show’s tickets. Some guests ditched cars altogether to arrive by water taxi.

But besides the remote venue, many applauded the runway show that included Karlie Kloss, Joan Smalls and Candice Swanepoel.

Harper’s Bazaar tweeted the collection was “well worth the trip to Brooklyn.” Another writer replied, “Was it, though?” and the debate raged on.
