R&B crooner Eric Benet married longtime girlfriend Manuela Testolini in Newport Beach, Calif., on Sunday. They’d been dating for three years and were engaged in November. Testolini was married to Prince for five years and divorced in 2006, while Benet wed Halle Berry in 2001 and split in 2003. Benet and Testolini celebrated with 150 guests including Samuel L. Jackson and his wife LaTanya Richardson, David Foster, Niecy Nash and “Access Hollywood” correspondent Shaun Robinson. Testolini had picked out a one-of-a-kind Monique Lhuillier dress and Benet chose a Lanvin tuxedo. The couple wrote their own vows and the reception included nods to both Benet’s Southern roots and Testolini’s Egyptian and Italian background. Benet got jitters only when the boyfriend of his 20-something daughter, India, caught the bride’s garter, prompting Eric to jokingly beg for a second throw.
