A State Supreme Court judge has banned “scientific” evidence in the divorce case of billionaire Henry Silverman and wife Nancy that aimed to prove he’s an “innate genius” whose spouse had no part in his financial success — potentially saving him a fortune. He wanted to submit testimony from psychological experts who would vouch for his intellect. At stake is $450 million Silverman made from Cendant Corp. during his 30-year marriage, which ended in 2008. He was soon after engaged to yoga instructor Karen Hader. One legal eagle said, “Wall Street firms use this scientific testing all the time, but it’s unusual for a di vorce proceeding.” “Good try, but no cigar,” added divorce doyen Raoul Felder, who does not rep either party. “If it had worked, anyone who made a lot of money would bring their obstetrician when they got divorced to prove they were geniuses [from the day they were born]. The judge had it right.” Reps for both parties did not return calls.
