Upscale SoHo stores, including high-end sex toy shop Babeland, think Will Smith is a major mood-killer. Even after the star deep-sixed his bulging trailer, which took up an entire block for “Men in Black 3” in May, the shoot lasted nearly a month. “I know the city was making a big deal about all the jobs filming creates,” said one merchant. “But the shoot really hurt our business.” Babeland bosses say Smith’s giant ego even got in the way of sex-toy sales. “We should have been reimbursed a lot more than [$2,000] for the drop in customers,” said a rep for Babeland, which offers “sex toys for a passionate world.” “[They] blocked pedestrian traffic and generally made it so difficult . . . that our sales were down for the first time this year.” Some stores including Ted Baker were paid $2,000 to hide their signage during filming, sources said. Others along the stretch include Vivienne Tam, Antique Garage, Scoop and Ed Hardy.
