First Derek Jeter and now A-Rod!
Just weeks after Jeter and actress Minka Kelly ended their relationship, another member of the Yankees has broken up with his gal pal, according to a new report.
After a year together, actress Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez ended their romance this summer.
“They broke up recently,” a source close to the 36-year-old slugger told Us Weekly.
The source said the low-profile relationship — which included trips to Miami and late-nights in New York — ended because A-Rod and Diaz are addicted to their jobs.
“She’s very busy with her career,” the source said of the 39-year-old actress. “And he’s had injuries and wants to focus on his game. They’re dedicated professionals.”
A-Rod has a home in Miami and he and Diaz had recently been spotted together buying artwork to decorate it at several New York galleries.
