Wild tales of Sarah; hubby blasts book

Sarah Palin had affairs with retired NBA star Glen Rice and one of her husband’s business partners, and snorted cocaine, a new book reportedly claims. Joe McGinniss’s “The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin,” out from Crown on Sept. 20, claims she had a one-night stand with former Knick Rice following a college basketball tournament less than a year before she eloped with her husband, Todd, in 1988, according to The Enquirer. It reports the book also claims Palin had a six-month affair with her husband’s business partner Brad Hanson. Both have strongly denied an affair. According to the report, the sensational book also states, “Sarah was seen snorting cocaine off an overturned 55-gallon oil drum while snowmobiling with pals.” On Thursday, Palin’s husband rushed to her defense, saying, “[McGinniss] is a man who has been relentlessly stalking my family to the point of moving in right next door to us to harass us and spy on us to satisfy his creepy obsession with my wife. His book is full of disgusting lies, innuendo, and smears. Even The New York Times called this book ‘dated, petty,’ and that it ‘chases caustic, unsubstantiated gossip.'”
