Liam Neeson does not want to be out of shape when shooting his sex scenes with stunner Olivia Wilde this fall.
“I’m doing a movie in September for four weeks with Olivia Wilde. We have some serious love-making to do so I have some push-ups to do,” said Neeson, revealing to the UK Press Association that he had signed on for an as-of-yet untitled film from “Crash” scribe Paul Haggis.
OLIVIA WILDE, JASON SUDEIKIS TO PLAY LOVERS ON-SCREEN
It won’t be the first time that Neeson has teamed up with Wilde on-screen — the two co-starred in “The Next Three Days” in 2010, also written by Haggis. But it will mark the first time that Neeson and Wilde have played a couple, a wrinkle that Neeson appears excited about.
“It’s a really interesting part and I get to go to bed with Olivia Wilde!” Neeson gushed.
But the “Wrath of the Titans” star swears this isn’t the only reason he signed on for the project.
“It’s a small film. It’s a really interesting script,” he said. “It’s a love story between different couples. I play a writer – or at least, I think so at the minute. It’s about a writer trying to get over a tragic death that he emotionally tries to access through the characters he writes about. He imagines their reactions to this tragic death of a kid drowning in a swimming pool.”
Neeson has experienced a tragic death in real life. In 2009, his wife, actress Natasha Richardson, died of a brain injury shortly after a skiing accident that had not seemed severe.
More than a year later, Neeson quietly began dating Freya St. Johnston, a British publicist with two children of her own. The couple was seen leaving Scott’s Fish Restaurant in London over the weekend.
