Forget alimony: Weir gets $20K Fabergé egg

Johnny Weir and Victor Voronov may have put all their eggs in one basket.

The Olympian, 29, met with his soon-to-be ex-husband’s lawyer on Sunday at the couple’s New Jersey storage unit to determine how community property would be divided in divorce proceedings, TMZ reports.

Some of the couple’s lavish loot? A $20,000 Fabergé egg, Louis Vuitton luggage and wedding rings.

Sources tell the website that Weir asked to handle the sale of the items himself, but Voronov’s lawyer refused, adding that the argument brought Weir to tears.

After six hours, Weir and Voronov’s counsel came to an agreement: Weir would take the fabregé egg and his wedding ring, while Voronov’s lawyer got the luggage and Voronov’s wedding ring.

“What a tough day,” Weir tweeted Sunday evening. “Excited to go to sleep and start a new week. Really thankful for my parents and the amazon (sic) people around me.”

The couple of two years agreed to sell off their community property and place the funds in a trust, a relatively tame decision considering their separation has included allegations of domestic abuse, animal abuse, luxury handbag vandalism, infidelity and leaked nude photographs.
