Sofia Vergara used her vacation to the island of Anguilla in the Caribbean this weekend to “reclaim her bachelorette status,” reports say.
According to Radar Online, Vergara was in a “very flirty” mood while she and three friends fled to the luxurious Viceroy Anguilla resort, just days after Page Six exclusively reported that the “Modern Family” actress had split from her boyfriend of two years, Nick Loeb.
“She was on vacation with a group of close friends and said that she was using the escape as a way to reclaim her bachelorette status,” a source told the site. “She didn’t seem too heartbroken about her breakup with Nick … A tropical getaway was just was Sofia needed to regroup and recover her independence.”
The source furthered that the Colombian beauty, who posted several photos of herself in a teensy bikini while on the trip, was “a hit” at the resort, and took special interest in several members of the hotel staff.
“Sofia looked like she was having a blast with her friends and got really flirty with some of the staff at the resort,” the source said. “Obviously the staff had to keep it professional, but you could tell she was getting a kick out of making them blush.”

While Vergara has yet to confirm the breakup, Loeb was conspicuously absent from the actress’ trip. Meanwhile, the politician gave a statement to The Huffington Post after they ran a story quoting a source who bashed the star.
“I am extremely disappointed in today’s comments in The Huffington Post,” Loeb said, avoiding saying for sure whether he and Vergara were over. “Sofia has always been a wonderfully loving and supportive woman.”
