Lea Michele appeared very close to a wardrobe malfunction during an appearance on the “Late Show with David Letterman” last night, as she cooed to the longtime host, “You’re like my dad.”
Michele’s “Glee” character might be known for demure, schoolgirl looks, but the actress picked a figure-hugging frock for her appearance last night that left little to the imagination. Her white Amen dress featured a deep V cut-out that had her cleavage popping front and center, appearing just millimeters away from revealing too much. During the interview, Michele seemed especially keen to break out of her good-girl image, talking about her penchant for tattoos.
“You always are talking about my tattoos,” said Michele. “You’re like my dad.”
Michele went on to reveal, however, that her father is in favor of her ink. The actress, whose character is reported to be studying at a New York performing arts school next season on “Glee,” says that she has 14 tattoos in total.
“You can get very addicted to them,” explained Michele. “For me it’s weirdly enough like a family activity. I come from a very big Italian family and tattoos are very popular. So it’ll be like Easter and we’ll all be like, ‘Let’s all go get tattoos.’ Then we get super sentimental and then the next day I wake up with another butterfly on my foot.”
Michele clarified that she only gets tattooed in her “secret spots.”
Michele, who is dating her “Glee” co-star Cory Monteith, vamped up her look last night with curled hair, dark eyeliner and Christian Louboutin pumps. She might have been inspired to further sex up her image after appearing on Maxim magazine’s annual list of the hottest women in Hollywood yesterday.
“#14 on Maxim Hot 100 list?!” Michele tweeted earlier in the day, upon hearing that she had placed in the magazine’s rankings. “That’s awesome!”
