Keith Richardshas become synonymous with hard-partying rock stardom, and inspired imitators including Johnny Depp’s character Captain Jack Sparrow in “The Pirates of the Caribbean” blockbusters. But the guitarist insisted to us that he never meant to cultivate an image per se. “I just do what I do. [People] decided that that’s it. [But] I can’t be bothered with stuff like ‘an image.’ Maybe that’s why I have one?” he told us Tuesday night with trademark “Keef” logic. Rolling Stones lead singer Mick Jagger meanwhile seemed more aware of his appearance. “When I look back at the clothes that we wore, all of which I’ve kept, by the way . . . I’ve had a deep insight,” Jagger said as the Stones prepare for a tour commemorating their 50th anniversary. “You know, I’m never going to wear those clothes ever again. I promise.” Ronnie Wood told us that he’s still enjoying touring with the Stones. “It’s very surreal,” he said. “I’ve just been enjoying the intense rehearsals in Paris and the music is just electrifying.”
