HBO making Nora Ephron documentary

Celebrated writer and filmmaker Nora Ephron will be the subject of a new HBO documentary.

The Hollywood Reporter writes that the upcoming doc, titled “Everything is Copy,” will be made by her son, Jacob Berstein. Vanity Fair editor Grayson Carter will act as executive producer.

The title refers to Ephron’s feeling that all aspects of life can inspire a writer.

Ephron, the writer behind screen gems “When Harry Met Sally,” “Sleepless in Seattle” and “You Got Mail,” died of leukemia at the age of 71 last year.

Her latest work is Broadway’s “Lucky Guy,” starring Tom Hanks. The actor held back tears on his opening night, telling Page Six that the bittersweet moment was tinged with sadness at the loss of his beloved friend.
