Oprah Winfrey’s favorite decorator, Nate Berkus, is engaged to his beau of nearly a year, Jeremiah Brent.
A rep told Us Weekly that Berkus popped the question Monday during their trip to Peru. They celebrated the beginning of their next chapter on top of the famed Machu Picchu.
Brent, who was Rachel Zoe’s former assistant, was “completely surprised” by the proposal, the publication writes.
The handsome duo had been quietly dating for months when Page Six reported in December they were spotted ice-skating, and later kissing in Barneys.
The two are hoping to be parents soon through a surrogate mother, The Post’s Richard Johnson reported. Brent told guests at a Hollywood Hills gathering in February, “I wouldn’t know how to deal with a little girl.”
