Anna Wintour is seeking a heavy-hitting spin doctor from the world of politics or business to rep her, we hear. The search is on since Vogue’s crack director of communications Megan Salt is stepping down May 10 to join Amazon Fashion on May 20, sources said. We’re told Wintour wants someone potentially from the political sphere as her p.r. director now that she’s Condé Nast’s artistic director as well as editor-in-chief of Vogue. Salt joined Vogue in 2010 after working as special-events consultant on Fashion’s Night Out.
