With a roomful of well-read ladies who lunch, the conversation at the UJA Federation’s second annual Women of Influence panel Wednesday at Guastavino’s was bound to turn to mommy-porn best-seller “Fifty Shades of Grey.” Gotham/Hamptons magazine editor in chief Samantha Yanks called the book a “new sexual revolution,” while panelist Stacy London, of TLC’s “What Not To Wear,” admitted to the crowd, “I hate-read it in a weekend. It was like eating 3 pints of ice cream — at the time you love it, then you just want to shoot yourself in the face!” The federation honored Yanks, financier and author Alexandra Lebenthal, and Elyse Newhouse for their professional and philanthropic feats.
