Grammy-winner Adele announced on Friday that she and her boyfriend Simon Konecki are expecting their first child. And “rumor has it” that Konecki, a divorced dad and CEO of a non-profit, is planning to get on bended knee.
“He was planning to propose anyway!” a source tells Us Weekly. An insider adds, that “Someone Like You” singer Adele, “wants a low-key affair where her mother gives her away.”
Adele and Konecki met last summer in the UK and went public with the relationship in January.
She announced on her Web site the pregnancy news by writing last week, “I’m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together… I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time.”
