Brooklyn Net general manager Billy King and his wife, Melanie, have been staying for the past two weeks at the Gansevoort Park Hotel as King worked to build his new team. King, who lives in New Jersey, pulled off several big deals this week from his temporary HQ — incidentally where Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian lived as their marriage crumbled — by bringing back free agent Deron Williams, trading for All-Star Joe Johnson and signing Gerald Wallace. After capping the coups, King and his family celebrated Wednesday at the rooftop pool. Tuesday, they shared dinner with Williams and his wife, Amy, and Nets coach Avery Johnson and his wife Cassandra at Serafina in Midtown.
