Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have cut off all contact with each other after their very public split, according to a new report.
In fact, the divorce is growing so bitter, Holmes’ concerned parents are being updated about her whereabouts hourly. And there is an “electronic security” log being kept to track her safety.

Radar Online reports a source as saying, “Katie’s father and mother are in constant communication with their daughter. They are being told what she is doing and where she is with Suri. One of Katie’s bodyguards is also calling her father throughout the day and night to inform him of Katie and Suri’s physical location and there is an electronic security log that Katie’s parents receive that is updated hourly.”
Holmes is due in family court on July 17 for her first hearing.
“Katie is taking these extraordinary measures for obvious reasons,” the source adds. “She knows now that in the eyes of Scientology she is the enemy. Her father advised her to spare no expense in hiring the best security team possible. Katie has no plans of living like a recluse, she is going out in public with Suri, just as she normally would, just with a few more bodyguards now.”
The report further says that Holmes was previously guraded by Scientologists who she dumped as her security since she couldn’t trust them anymore.
“Katie’s past bodyguards were Scientologists and she just didn’t feel that she could trust them, so they were fired the day before she filed for divorce,” Radar reports. “Katie already had her new team in place and Suri was already in the new apartment when Katie told the old team their services were no longer going to be needed. Katie was at the apartment she shared with Tom and when she stepped out into the hallway she had four new bodyguards that took her downstairs, where she got into the car and drove off to her new life. It was very, very dramatic.”
Radar’s source says that Holmes’ measures to take control of her life and split form Cruise, has been like, “something out of a movie and she knew there was no going back.”
Meanwhile, the “Mission Impossible” star currently has “absolutely no contact with Katie,” and the couple and their teams are “negotiating/bickering” about when Cruise can talk to the couple’s daughter Suri, TMZ reports.
Holmes is believed to have blindsided Cruise when she filed for divorce last week. Holmes had reportedly switched her cell phone numbers and e-mail addresses in the weeks leading up to the filing and escaped to her own apartment in Chelsea with Suri.
But Holmes did talk about transitioning to “a new phase” in her life in an interview with Elle magazine weeks before the split.
Holmes has filed for sole custody of Suri.
Cruise speaks with his daughter by phone at least once a day, TMZ reports, but sources close to him tell the Web site, “it hasn’t been easy.”
Sources further tell TMZ things are “really bitter now” between the divorcing stars, and that Cruise feels “betrayed” and thinks his soon-to-be third ex-wife is “using Suri as a weapon” in their divorce battle.
