Kris Humphries will demand a paternity test after his “booty call” girl, New Yorker Myla Sinanaj, claimed she’s three months pregnant.
Sources tell us the former Nets star and current free agent called Sinanaj in a panic after news of her pregnancy broke on the Web on Thursday night, and she confirmed to Humphries she’s expecting. Her pregnancy could become a major issue for Humphries in his bitter divorce battle with Kim Kardashian — because he had claimed her filing for divorce left him devastated and heartbroken.
A source close to the situation told Page Six, “This is a huge shock for Kris. He called Myla who told him, yes, she is pregnant, and it is his baby. She is three months along. They have dated since January, and Myla told Kris it is definitely his,” the source said, adding that Myla claimed “he is the only person she has slept with in a year.”
A different source close to Humphries adds, “He will ask for a paternity test when the baby is born. He had been claiming that their relationship was pretty casual, that she was a ‘booty call’ girl.”
Our source continued that if a paternity test indeed were to prove that Kris is the father, “It could be disastrous for his divorce battle with Kim Kardashian, because he had claimed she broke his heart.
“The truth is, when Kim and Kris split, there was a lot of negative feeling towards Kim from the public, but now he looks like the bad guy.”
But, “He’s been in regular touch with Sinanaj the past few weeks,” the source said, adding that “if he handles this situation well,” she may not file a defamation suit she’s threatened over statements Humphries’ camp made about her.
Meanwhile, Humphries’ publicist quit yesterday as the drama around his relationship with Sinanaj intensified. Humphries is now in Minnesota at a training camp. His attorney Lee Hutton didn’t respond to calls and e-mails.
Sinanaj’s power lawyer, Joe Tacopina, told us, “We will evaluate the situation and his reaction before proceeding any further.”
