The split between LMFAO party rockers Redfoo and Sky Blu came after years of infighting, sources tell us. Page Six first reported in April that the duo was heading for a split after fighting over money. Though they denied our report in a cute viral video using our headline “Every Day I’m Tusslin’,” Redfoo this past week confirmed that they were “taking a break and pursuing their own individual interests.” We also hear that Redfoo had demanded the majority of the money for song rights and royalties. Our sources tell us the duo had been fighting for at least two years, which led to each being booked separately at clubs in New York and Vegas for DJ gigs. While they had a tour scheduled through 2012, their Web site shows Redfoo, the son of Motown founder Berry Gordy, and Sky Blu, Redfoo’s nephew and Gordy’s grandson, performing independently at locations on different days. Other sources tell us the tour is canceled altogether. A rep for the rappers didn’t get back to us.
