John Mayer’s bad dating rep is catching up to him. Katy Perry’s friends and family are reportedly worried that the smitten pop star can’t resist the lothario’s charms.
“Katy’s friends and family haven’t taken to John at all, in fact they are worried that she is headed for heartbreak,” a source told RadarOnline. “She’s been telling everybody who cares to listen how great John is and it’s clear that she is totally in love with him.”
Their alleged rocky relationship has Perry’s loved ones forecasting doom.
“She appears to have fallen dangerously in love with him and her friends are concerned,” the insider continued. “Now that she has invested more feelings in John and has let her guard down, there’s only one way this can end… in disaster!”
The singers have yet to confirm dating rumors but they were photographed stealing kisses at a concert in LA in early September and in a lovers’ spat at a MTV Video Music Awards after party a few days later.
