Victoria’s Secret CEO offered former lover job

Married Victoria’s Secret CEO Sharen Jester Turney told her former lover Cliff Donenfeld he could be a designer for the lingerie line, and promised she’d take him with her to London to live when she once mulled a move to Harrods.

Donenfeld said Turney, 56, was considering jumping to the British retailer during their affair in 2010, and that the possibility of relocating together came up when she took him on a trip to her prestigious alma mater, the Wharton School.

“At the time, she was discussing a move to Harrods,” Donenfeld recalled. “She said it would be much easier to start our lives over again in London. She said she’d place me in a job at Harrods.”

Page Six exclusively reported Turney and the Naples, Fla., luxury real-estate broker carried on a two-year affair after meeting at a party — and he claims she promised him a home in Florida plus a life together, but left him with only a Cartier watch and refused to recommend him for a job in fashion.

Donenfeld further said that Turney asked him to design a line of men’s boxer shorts for Victoria’s Secret (which he says he did, but they were never manufactured), and he claims he also offered her advice on the company’s high-profile catwalk show.

He also said he consulted on Sharen’s personal style and added, “She didn’t go out in public without my input.”

Donenfeld — who told us he’s also been linked to beauties including Debbie Harry, Valerie Perrine, Beverly Johnson and Gabrielle Anwar, among others — said, “I’ve known some fabulous women. I’m not a zillionaire. I’m an average guy.”

He said the key to landing successful women is “lending a sympathetic ear and bedroom exploits. I’ve got a strong libido.”

A Victoria’s Secret rep said the company doesn’t comment on employees’ personal lives.

Another source said that on Tuesday, Turney left the office to break the news to her husband of 25 years, Charles, about her two-year affair, which ended in about 2010.
