‘Girls’ fans crash food delivery site

Was it ladies ordering in pizza for the season opener of “Girls” that crashed food-delivery site Seamless.com on Sunday night?

The site spectacularly went down after it offered a 15 percent discount on orders as a promotion for “Girls,” leaving those who tried to order frustrated and hungry.

Seamless tweeted users: “We survived a polar vortex, we shall overcome this GIRLS trouble.”

But last night reps for the site insisted Lena Dunham fans were not entirely to blame.

One told us, “It was a big night for TV and staying in. There’s no way we can draw correlation between any promotion and the outage. There was Golden Globes and sports . . . We will be making it up to the diners affected by the outage.”
