Remember the name Mike C. Manning. One of the stars of Disney’s made-for-TV movie about snowboarding, “Cloud 9,” Manning has a conscience.
The 23-year-old actor (and former “Real World: DC” personality) executive-produced “Kidnapped for Christ” with N’SYNC alum Lance Bass and “Transformers” producer Tom DeSanto. The documentary — about three American teens who were sent to a reform camp in the Dominican Republic — won the audience award at the Slamdance Film Festival.
“Mike is a bright light. He is dedicated to doing good,” says his good pal Pauley Perrette, star of CBS’s “NCIS.”
Bass says, “Working with Mike C. Manning has been such a joy . . . It’s a remarkable difference working with someone who has a heart!”
