A face-off between LeBron James and Amar’e Stoudemire took place in Chelsea nightclub 1Oak hours before the highly anticipated matchup between the Knicks and the Miami Heat tonight at the Garden.
James and Stoudemire held court in separate booths at opposite ends of the packed club Thursday night, where James was the guest of honor at the Corona and Maestro Dobel Tequila-sponsored bash. The club was decorated with balloons that spelled out his name — LeBron on one wall, James on another.
James arrived with an entourage that include teammate Dwyane Wade, girlfriend Gabrielle Union and 20 other friends.
Stoudemire arrived shortly after hand-in-hand with new gal pal Amber Rose, and held court in a corner booth with music mogul Steve Stout. The two danced to hip-hop spun by DJ Jus Ske but kept a low profile until leaving together at 1:30.
James continued to party until 2:30 before leaving the club in a hooded jacket and pushing his entourage through the exit towards a caravan of SUVs.
The Heat and the Knicks play tonight at 7 p.m..
