“Nashville” star Connie Britton almost got a role in Lena Dunham’s “Girls.” A source on the Long Island set of Britton’s new movie, “This Is Where I Leave You,” which co-stars the HBO hit’s Adam Driver, was heard saying she was going to do a guest appearance during Season 3 but couldn’t manage to get it scheduled. “She is bummed about it,” says the insider. “This Is Where I Leave You” also stars Jason Bateman, Tina Fey, Jane Fonda and Rose Byrne.
