Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Nina Agdal dated The Wanted’s Max George before hooking up with Maroon 5’s Adam Levine — but Agdal is refusing to let any footage of her with George be shown on television.
Sources say Agdal’s relationship with George developed while cameras rolled for the British boy band’s new E! reality show, “The Wanted Life,” in which Agdal appears. But she won’t sign release forms to allow the footage of her with George to air, for fear that prolific modelizer Levine will dump her when he sees it.
“She’s refusing to sign a release for her appearance because she doesn’t want Adam to find out,” said an insider who added, “How can she just pretend nothing happened?”
Agdal, 21, is said to be dating Levine after she was spotted in late May on the set of NBC’s “The Voice,” on which the tattooed crooner is a judge. The Dutch swimsuit beauty, who has also appeared in ads for Carl’s Jr., is the latest in a string of models Levine has bedded, including a two-year relationship with Victoria’s Secret stunner Anne Vyalitsyna and VS beauty Behati Prinsloo, whom he started seeing in May 2012.
George, meanwhile, was linked to Lindsay Lohan after the troubled actress showed up at several concerts and was photographed with the band backstage late last year.
“The Wanted Life” documents the band — which hit it big last year after their party-friendly hit “Glad You Came” topped the charts worldwide — after they moved from the UK to Los Angeles to prep for their world tour and record their second album. Media jack-of-all-trades Ryan Seacrest is an executive producer of the show.
The five bandmates — George, Nathan Sykes, Tom Parker, Jay McGuiness and Siva Kaneswaran — are managed by Scooter Braun, who also reps Justin Bieber, Psy and Carly Rae Jepsen.
