Beyonce is not expecting baby No. 2, according to Gayle King
King reported on “CBS This Morning” that the singer is “absolutely positively not pregnant.”
Page Six revealed last month that music-industry insiders were buzzing that the superstar and her husband Jay-Z were expecting a baby. She also canceled a mid-May concert due to “exhaustion,” pushing the rumor to overdrive.
Beyonce has since squashed the rumor, posting a photo of herself sipping from a wine glass, and has also laughed off the speculation on “Today.”
To nip the rumor in the bud, King spoke to Beyonce’s reps about the pregnancy. “I got a call yesterday from Team Beyoncé you guys, and they’re basically saying stop the crazy, she is absolutely positively not pregnant at this time.”
King added that although Bey isn’t pregnant right now, the music power couple do want a younger brother or sister for Blue Ivy.
“It’s true she and Jay-Z absolutely want to have another baby,” she said, “And when the time is right, when they decide the time is right, they will share it.”
