Despite the recent bumps in the road, Sharon Osbourne says she loves and accepts her husband Ozzy Osbourne after he admitted in April that he was drinking and doing drugs again.
The two were rumored to have split after Ozzy’s shocking confession, but the TV personality told “Extra” that everything is fine at home and that the rocker has been sober for more than 90 days.
Host Mario Lopez also asked the Osbourne matriarch what the key was to their three decade marriage. Sharon responded, “It’s acceptance of who that person is, if you think you’re ever gonna change anyone, you’re not gonna do it…You love them for who they are.”
The Black Sabbath singer had admitted in a message posted on his Facebook page that “for the last year and a half I have been drinking and taking drugs.”
He said “I was in a very dark place” and apologized for his “insane behavior.”
Osbourne added: “Just to set the record straight, Sharon and I are not divorcing.”
