‘Girls Gone Wild’ honcho ‘hardcore’ sex tape shopped after gal pal’s iPad stolen at LAX

Joe Francis apparently has first-hand experience going wild on camera.

A “hardcore” sex tape starring the “Girls Gone Wild” founder and his girlfriend Abbey Wilson is currently being shopped to various media outlets, The Post has confirmed.

Francis said the x-rated footage was on the iPad of his girlfriend when the device was pilfered a few weeks ago at LAX airport. The video is said to be professional quality.

“I’m a connoisseur of pornography,” Francis said. “I’m Steven Spielberg when it comes to this.”

The tycoon — who was recently convicted of misdemeanor counts of assault and false imprisonment — seems upset that the tape is around and is threatening criminal and civil action if the footage with is released. He is confident that police will arrest the creep who is trying to sell the tape.

His lawyer, David Houston, told TMZ, “It is not only unfortunate, but it is a crime. As such, this office will take all necessary steps to determine who in fact has done this and who is attempting to distribute the video.”

Houston added that they’ve already contacted the authorities and issued a stern warning to the culprit: “When we catch you, we will see that you are prosecuted to the fullest extent of both the criminal and civil laws.”

Francis and Wilson are appearing on a VH1 reality show, “Couples Therapy,” which debuts June 12. But he denies he is pulling a Paris Hilton/Kim Kardashian porn leak to boost ratings.

“We will never sign a release. You will never see this tape. This is not a publicity stunt,” Francis said. “I just want my property returned to me and for this criminal to be arrested and prosecuted.”
