BALD TRUTH: DIVORCE FOR WOLFF

MICHAEL Wolff is finally free to flaunt his girlfriend. The bald, trout-pouted Vanity Fair writer, 55, has been carrying on a steamy public affair with intern Victoria Floethe, 28, for months and was finally booted from the home of his wife, Alison Anthoine. He’s since been shacking up in hotels around town and hanging out in public with Floethe, whom he took to a pre-opening tasting at Monkey Bar last week.

Now, sources said Wolff and Anthoine will soon begin divorce proceedings. “That is correct,” Wolff told Page Six.

A family insider said, “Alison is trying very hard to end the marriage amicably. Michael will be renting an apartment starting [this] week.”

The couple’s marital issues have led to an ugly court battle with Alison’s frail mother, Edith Anthoine, 85, whom Wolff is trying to evict from her apartment, valued at $600,000, which he and Alison own and want to sell as part of an asset liquidation.

Edith is suing the couple to be allowed to stay. She alleges that, in 1994, they asked her to give them her rent-stabilized, four-bedroom Lexington Avenue apartment, which was turning co-op, so they could buy it at a good price and have more room for their three kids. In exchange, they agreed to buy a nearby one-bedroom for her to live in until her death. Anthoine and Wolff claim the mother is batty and needs managed care.

On Wednesday, Edith Anthoine’s family and lawyers met with the judge and Alison’s Anthoine’s lawyers. At that court meeting, Alison’s sister, Nina Anthoine, told The Post’s Kati Cornell: “Wolff lets people do his dirty work for him wherever possible.” Regarding Alison, Nina said, “It’s a moral-ethical issue . . . They’re trying to evict my 85-year-old mother from the home she was supposed to live in for the rest of her life.”

Following the conference, Alison Anthoine’s lawyer, Steven Wagner, said, “There is no agreement, but the judge was very useful in facilitating the matter.” They’re due back in court on April 20.
