The nearly 8,000-word piece, “Pope Francis: The Times They Are A-Changin’ ” by Mark Binelli, portrays him as a transformative man of the people and a savvy p.r. expert.
And the mag’s choice to put him on the cover — following stars including Eminem, Paul McCartney, Macklemore and Miley Cyrus — cements his place in pop culture.
