Things seem to be going in the right direction for Annie Leibovitz. On the heels of her much-talked-about Tiger Woods photo on the cover of this month’s Vanity Fair, we’ve learned that she’s settled her dispute with Italian photographer Paolo Pizzetti, who sued her for $350,000 last fall claiming she used photos he took of Venice and Rome and passed them off as her own in a calendar for a coffee company. Pizzetti had said he took the shots to illustrate locations for her. But now he says, “Annie Leibovitz is one of the great photographers of our times.”
