It’s been a whirlwind 24 hours for “24” hero Kiefer Sutherland amid the premiere of Season 8, set in NYC. It climaxed last night at a screening of the opener at NYU with co-stars Mary Lynn Rajskub (left) and Katee Sackhoff.

Meanwhile, Kiefer tells Sunday’s Parade magazine, “I’ve always been shocked that people that I’m actually flying with say, ‘Oh, I feel safer on the plane with you.’ I’m thinking, ‘You must not watch the show, because everybody around me gets killed.”
