Alec Baldwin, a no-show at the Golden Globes, was in Canada helping his favorite environmental charity, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.‘s Waterkeeper Alliance. While there, Baldwin defied the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, which has tapped the “30 Rock” star to co-host the Oscars on March 7, by risking his neck on the ski slopes, reports National Post columnist Shinan Govani. Baldwin was heard complaining, “I have to lose 15 pounds.” Also at the Fairmont Banff Springs Sports Invitational, Govani writes, “We caught Virginia Madsen going sideways down a mountain, found ourselves hot-tubbing with the first Mrs. Cruise, Mimi Rogers, and came face to face to face with Marla Maples, and her now-16-year-old co-production with The Donald, Tiffany Trump.”
