Justin Bieber was seen dining with fellow teen sensation Miley Cyrus in West Hollywood, but failed to answer when a reporter asked whether the couple were on a date, celebrity website TMZ reported Tuesday.
Bieber, 16, told reporters outside West Hollywood’s Ari-Ya Sushi restaurant that Cyrus, 17, was “just having fun with me.”
After the meal, Bieber wrote on his Twitter page: “met up with a friend tonight for some dinner….”
Last week, U.S. socialite and tabloid favorite Kim Kardashian received death threats from Bieber fans after the singer joked on the social networking site that she was his girlfriend.
The Canadian star posted a picture of himself and Kardashian at a White House correspondents’ dinner, to which Kardashian wrote, “I officially have Bieber Fever!!!”
When a reporter outside the restaurant asked Cyrus whether she was afraid of receiving such death threats, the teen star giggled to Bieber, “death threats — do you see what I’m saying?”
