Kate Hudson is the new face of cosmetics brand Almay this fall, following in the footsteps of celebrity faces Leslie Bibb and Elaine Irwin Mellencamp. Hudson, who will appear in TV and print ads for the label beginning in August, will celebrate her contract tonight at the Rainforest Fund benefit concert at Carnegie Hall.

Sting, Elton John, Mary J. Blige, Debbie Harry and Dame Shirley Bassey are among those expected to perform. Sting and Trudie Styler launched the charity in 1989.
