Beyonce and Jay Z kept a low profile while checking out London rockers The xx at the Park Avenue Armory Saturday night.
Spies said that the pair slipped through a main entrance and were escorted to a VIP box, whereas other guests entered through the side of the building and into an old, underground shooting range to get to a special sunken stage in a white cube.
The band has been playing a string of shows at the Armory for just 45 guests per night.
“Hardly anyone noticed [Beyoncé and Jay Z],” said a spy of the couple. “They were so casual.”
The hip-hop pair then skipped an after-party, where guests included Madonna, and had an intimate dinner at La Esquina. Others who’ve seen The xx shows include Björk and Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
