Nick Cannon isn’t looking like himself these days.

On Monday, the “America’s Got Talent” host posted a photo of himself in whiteface, apparently as a publicity stunt for his upcoming album, “White People Party Music.”

“It’s official…I’m White!!! #WHITEPEOPLEPARTYMUSIC #Wppm in stores April 1st!!!!!!Dude Go Get It!!!Join The Party!!!! #GoodCredit #DogKissing #BeerPong #FarmersMarkets #FistPumping #CreamCheeseEating #RacialDraft “Bro I got drafted!!” he captioned the controversial photo.

While Cannon is known for mocking white people in his standup act, followers questioned whether this was crossing the line. “If he just did this to be funny that’s one thing, his hashtags are what make it racist,” wrote xkelsterx19.

Since posting the pic, Cannon defended himself in numerous tweets and Instagrams, even citing Robert Downey Jr.’s blackface performance in “Tropic Thunder” as a humorous take on crossing racial barriers.

“White People Party Music” — aptly enough out on April Fools’ Day — will be Cannon’s first studio album in 11 years.
