Madonna giving out album for free with purchase of tour tickets

Madonna has announced news that may make fans slightly more likely to “work all year, scrape the money together, and come to my show,” as the superstar requested.

Fans who purchase tickets to the Material Girl’s world tour will receive a free copy of her new album, “M.D.N.A.” Madonna has announced that fans can choose whether they would prefer a digital or physical copy of her 12th studio album.

Tickets for Madonna’s concert at Yankee Stadium are $139.50 to $184.50 for field seats, and $359.50 for coveted floor seats. Meanwhile, the deluxe version of the album is listed for $17.99 on Amazon.

MADONNA SAYS ‘WORK ALL YEAR, SAVE YOUR PENNIES’ TO SEE TOUR

The deal is limited to fans who purchase their tickets from TicketMaster. For those who purchase tickets now, instructions for receiving their free album will come closer to the March 26 release date. For those who purchase their tickets after the album is in stores, they will receive instructions within 48 hours.

In a Newsweek interview prior to her Super Bowl halftime performance, Madonna was highly dismissive of fan complaints over high ticket prices.

“Start saving your pennies now,” said Madonna. “People spend $300 on crazy things all the time, things like handbags. So work all year, scrape the money together, and come to my show. I’m worth it.”
