Katy Perry and Russell Brand have reached a divorce settlement. Perry signed her court documents with her usual signature — a smiley face underneath her name.
According to the documents, Perry and Brand have reached a “comprehensive written settlement of all issues.” Perry’s papers request that the court not be involved in the issue of spousal support for Brand. Meanwhile, Brand’s paperwork also waives the right to a trial on this matter.

Sources close to the couple previously told TMZ that Brand is not seeking financial support from Perry. According to Forbes, Perry made $44 million between May 2010 and May 2011 while Brand made $7 in the same period. Brand could have sought half of the cumulative earnings, as the two reportedly did not have a prenup.
Perry’s divorce paperwork is also interesting on another note — it seeks to legally “restore” her name to Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson.
Perry and Brand married in October 2010 in a ceremony in India. Brand filed for divorce 14 months later, on Dec. 30, after the couple spent the holidays more than 7,000 miles apart.
