Sinead O’Connor back with 4th husband after ‘mad love making affair’

DUBLIN — Irish singer Sinead O’Connor was back in the arms of her fourth husband Wednesday — a week after she declared that their 16-day marriage was over.

The controversial songstress wed Barry Herridge in Las Vegas on Dec. 8, but less than three weeks later, she announced that the couple split due to “intense pressure” on her groom — and because she took him on a cannabis hunt hours after their wedding.

However, the “Nothing Compares 2 U” singer and Herridge patched things up, and on Wednesday, O’Connor took to Twitter to announce the happy news in graphic detail to her 1,773 followers.

“Guess who had a mad love making affair with her own husband last night?” she wrote under her Twitter handle @vampyahslayah. “Spent beautiful evening of love making with nine [none] other than husband!”

She said the pair decided to “be boyfriend and girlfriend again” and to go to counseling to help their relationship.

O’Connor, whose Twitter account warns “DO NOT FOLLOW IF UNDER 18,” then went into further details on the couple’s reunion.

She tweeted, “so sinead got laid!!!,” adding, “yay!!! me husband is a big hairy cave man an came to claim me with his club : ) and now im in cave-land.. yay!!”

She confirmed to one curious follower that the couple would not go ahead with a divorce, adding, “An I can add to my lingerie collection. Size uk 12 btw for anyone wanting to send any. 36b.”

The Grammy Award winner divorced her third husband, Steve Cooney, last year and admitted that her subsequent wedding to Herridge — in the back of a pink Cadillac on her 45th birthday – was rushed.

“I truly believe though it is painful to admit, we made a mistake rushing into getting married,” she wrote on sineadoconnor.com last month.

She blamed their split on “intense pressure placed upon him by certain people in his life, not to be involved with me,” adding, “And also by a bit of a wild ride i took us on looking for a bit of a smoke of weed for me wedding night as I don’t drink.”

O’Connor previously was married to music producer John Reynolds and journalist Nicholas Sommerlad and has four children.
